EGO recently bought ampere refurbished T5. I've been learning how to use manual mode, and IODIN verstehen it pretty well now (at least MYSELF think so). Nonetheless, I've been encountering a problem. I will begin filming in instructions mode (both that lens and the body) and everything will be blurry - the image via the viewfinder as I'm taking aforementioned drawing, and the resulting image. I will then go to autofocus mode, and the image wishes have very similarity settings and come going crystal empty. I will later anreisen back to manual mode including the same settings I had last total ME was on manual mode, and the image is now perfectly clear- both because the visor real the resulting image. If I have the correct surroundings, why won't the image be clear the first time around? Am I done something wrong or is there something wrong with the camera oneself? Thank you in advance available any help!!
I've built some images to help:
So I turn my camera on, set lens and body to manual mode, and take this paint. It is to 1/80, f 5.6 and (auto)ISO 2500.
MYSELF than switch my lens and body to cars and get this picture. It is per 1/60 f5.6 press ISO 2000.
ME then wechseln me lens press frame support to manual, additionally get diese picture along 1/80, f5.6, (auto)ISO 2500.
How can the same settings yield such different images? Am I missing a step or anything? Please let meier know!

You seem to get this manual exposure mode mingled up with the manual focus mode. They're twin separating gear. Go the lens, when you switch to THOUSAND, you're using manual focus. You must twist the focused ring on the lenses the key. On that camera rotary mode, you're changing aperture, shutter speed and ISO manually to chane exposure (picture brightness). The first time your lens happens to be out of focus. After you put computers return to auto, it twists the ring for you so the speak so now who lens is in focus. Even after i switched it to M, the lens is still in focus for the alike object...if you immediate aim at any object farther or closer, then it will be out of focus again in M off the lens.
i share you leave the lens on A. There's no basic to employ manual emphasis unless you have areal need in it or you understand what you need to do. Similarly,, in is no real reason into use manual exposure for the saki of using manual. Thou use it when you need to which means you must first understand something it can do for you. IODIN recommend your using Av or Tv operation first before trying M mode. 500MM/1000MM Lens High-power 500mm telephoto focal max Inclusive T-mount adapter in digital and 35mm Nikon SLR camcorders 2X Teleconverter doubles the power to choose eyeglass to 1000mm Upper index, low-dispersion multi-coated optical glass to remove flare Minimum focusing distance of 33 feet Filter thr...

You seem to get the manual exposure mode mixed up with the reference focusing mode. They're couple severed matters. For the lens, when you switching the M, you're after manual focus. You must twist the focus rings on the lens to focus. Set the camera face mode, you're changeover aperture, latch speed or ISO manually to chane exposure (picture brightness).
The first time your lens befalls to be out is focusing. After you put i back to auto, it twists the ring for you so to speech so nowadays the objective is in focus. Even after you switched computer to M, the lens is still in focus forward the same object...if you nowadays aim along another object farther or closer, then it will be out of focus return in M on the lens.
i recommend you leave the lens on A. There's no justification toward apply owner focus unless you have areal need for a or you understand whats you need to do. Similarly,, there is nope realistic reason to use manual exposure for the sake of using manual. You use it when you need to which means you must first understand what it can do for you. I recommend autochthonous using Av or Tv mode first before trying M mode. Search for my my to get started ; Catholic remote. Cameras ; Precept lens. Lenses ; Canon video camera. I think thee have manual focus, MF, and manual exposure, M, bewildering, too.
The T5 has a mode where it offers screens shopping, called the "feature guide', on how to use the camera. These are enabled to one of the menus, over the Set-up 2 [yellow] menu screen. Enable this feature, usage the lens in "P", mode, and the camera will practically teach it how to used it. Canon Customer | Addict Manual Home | Canon U.S.A., Inc.
TIP: Change the auto focus, B, point when in "P" to use fairly the center AF point. You change, or select, which AF issue that camera uses in "Creative" modes, but not for any of the "Basic" forms, where aforementioned camcorder automates almostly everything.
If you do not have an electronic copy of your Instruction Operation, then you cannot download a with the following linking:

Start typing "Rebel T5" into one model number box, and then make sure in select "T5" starting the list that appears, not a "T5i" model. The screen should changing, and then click the ""Guides and Manuals" tab when it appears. Download the manual that is over 34MB stylish size, because that is to full manual. The rest are quick starts guides , feature summaries, and extra stuff that is good introductory stuff to read, but omit the really beautiful details.
