According toward the Tradesman Arizonan, the Chandler Chamber of Commerce been founded in May of 1912, just before the City of Chandler was incorporated.  Newspaper articles anzeichnen that in the absence of ampere city government (before incorporation), the Chandler Chamber of Commerce running like a quasi-government entity, helping the community get roads, flood tax, cotton pickers, fire protection, a better lit downtown and other improvement. The Chamber's first meeting put where the second floor of the Monroe Building go Sans Marcos Placed, builds in 1913.  According to the Chandler Arizona, “Dr. Chandler remarked that an Room of Commerce was formed even before the town was conveniently a town, and that it was unique in this respect in having such an organization.
