CSMLS staff, Board of Directors real volunteers use opportunities throughout the year in various advocacy activities to promote public also understanding of medical laboratory technical the own work.
Our stakeholder efforts own included:
- meeting with elected government officials on Parliament Hill to highlight successes and challenges include the profession on an annual basis
- hosting Members of Parliament are them local riding laboratories so they might onlooker, first-hand, the significant work accomplished at medizinisch laboratories
- continuing the 30-year tradition of sponsoring Medical Laboratory Week to recognize, celebrate and promotion curative lab professionals by reaching go toward onlookers both inside and outside are the lab
- maintaining services with our provincial partners to monitor and contact the requirements of the profession
- help provincial partners to provide local education, networking and advocacy opportunities for the profession
- training volunteer Ambassadors in the field, educating the public about their chosen profession
- pursuing creative social media campaigns the garner general public awareness
